LASAGNA RECIPE

Olive Oil
2 pounds of either, beef, turkey or bison (you can mix)
1 onion
1 bulb of garlic
2 cans of diced tomatoes
1 jar of tomato sauce
1 can of tomato paste
1 box of no-boil lasagna noodles
2 eggs
2 cups of cottage cheese
1 cup of ricotta cheese
2 cups of parmesan cheese
1 bunch of parsley
Salt
Pepper
1 Teaspoon of nutmeg
1 Bag of shredded mozzarella
1 Bag of shredded cheddar

Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

In a large sauté pan, over medium-high heat, add Olive oil, onion, and garlic. Once the onion is cooked add your meat and cook until brown. Then add diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, and tomato paste. Let simmer for 15 to 20 mins.

In a large bowl, mix together your cottage cheese, ricotta cheese, parsley, salt, pepper, nutmeg, 2 eggs, and Parmesan.

Spread meat sauce in the bottom of your baking pan. Lay noodles in the bottom of the baking dish, covering every corner. Spread cottage cheese mixture evenly on top. Add meat sauce and repeat layering the same order. With meat sauce left on top, add your shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese. Sprinkle Parmesan on top and bake for 25 to 30 mins until crispy on top. Let cool for 10 mins and serve.
